Abstract

This study utilizes the Volunteer Function Inventory (VFI) to examine the relationship between volunteer motivation and satisfaction among university students at Kolej Poly-Tech Mara Bangi. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design and random sampling, the research analyzes six motivational domains values, understanding, enhancement, career, protective, and social to identify gender-based differences and motivational trends. The findings, derived through Pearson correlation and independent t-tests, aim to provide insights into fostering social responsibility and increasing active participation in voluntary work among the student population.
