Innovation produces new business and is a vital source of evolution in industry and business. Realizing the importance of innovation, many competitions are being held worldwide where the main intention of this competition is to cultivate idea and creativity culture. One of the important parts of innovation competition is the judging process because this is when the winner will be determined. However, most of the judging process still relies on manual approach whichis paper-based. Therefore, the aim of this study is to develop a prototype of Web-Based Innovation Competition Judging System (ICJS) in order to improve the efficiency of the judging process. This project is developed using Laravel, MySQL and PhpStorm as an editor. Evaluation phase encompassing functionality test and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) test. For functionality testing, most of the listed components are able to be completed during development of the prototype. For TAM, there are three components which are used for test; Perceived of Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use and User satisfaction. The TAM test is conducted by distribute the questionnaire to seven lecturers that are related to innovation competition. From the findings, it is discovered that most of the lecturers agree that ICJS facilitate them in evaluating product and determining winner. From the feedbacks received for TAM, it can be concluded that the respondents are satisfied with ICJS as well as the functions provided in the system. One of the recommendations of ICJS is that the system can be enhanced by allowing admin to edit the criteria and scale of the evaluation form according to innovation competition preference. Next, by identifying the gap between marks given by judges in the report section in order to avoid bias and unfair during determining the winner.
