Abstract

Vehicle stickers are be used by the designated vehicles only and cannot be assigned to the others vehicle. This important of this study is to help auxiliary police to reduce vehicle sticker problem. Currently, UiTM Perlis used manual spot check of vehicle sticker. The procedure was take time to check all vehicle sticker in UiTM. There are bring some problems to the university directly or indirectly. The problem is the students purchase vehicle stickers from any other sources, misuse and fabricate the vehicle stickers and also steal other students’ vehicle stickers. The University takes serious view on the issue of the problem. Therefore, a vehicle sticker system using RFID tags has been developing to overcome this problem. The purpose of this project is to develop a system that help the auxiliary police to verify the validity of the vehicle sticker. There are nine phases which is planning, information gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, evaluation, implementation and documentation phases is chosen as methodology for this study. The evaluation of the system involves Heuristic Evaluation and usability test. There are thirty respondents which consists of three experts and twenty-seven students from UiTM Perlis. Result from the Heuristics evaluation and Usability Test, most of the respondents are agree that all the functionalities that available in the system is functioning well.
