Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between physical activity and body image across diverse age groups at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur, to address gaps in age-sensitive Malaysian recreational research. Utilizing convenience sampling, 377 participants were assessed using the Godin Leisure-Time Exercise Questionnaire and the Body Image–Acceptance and Action Questionnaire. The findings aim to clarify how body image perceptions influence exercise habits in public spaces, providing a deeper understanding of societal and psychological drivers within a recreational context.
