Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between sleep quality and mental toughness among 356 FSR students at UiTM Seremban 3, highlighting the role of rest in fostering cognitive and emotional resilience. Utilizing a quantitative approach with random sampling, the research employed the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and the MTQ48 to assess how sleep patterns influence the psychological endurance necessary for academic and athletic success. Through Spearman correlation analysis, the findings aim to clarify how sleep contributes to the mental toughness required for students pursuing sports and exercise-related disciplines.
