Hijabist hook

The Hijabist Hook is a minimalist, wall-mounted storage solution designed to improve hygiene and convenience for women using shared spaces such as wudu areas and public restrooms. It prevents personal items—like scarves, telekung, and bags—from being placed on wet or unclean surfaces by offering a secure, stylish, and adaptable hanging option. Inspired by modular and minimalist design, the unit features a durable powder-coated mild steel base, complemented by soft plastic loop hooks that can be rearranged using magnets. The Hijabist Hook directly supports multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as ensuring health and well-being, promoting sanitation, and encouraging responsible use of materials. This project illustrates how thoughtful product design can merge functionality, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal to create safer, more organised public and private spaces.
