Abstract

Success in archery depends heavily on the biomechanical alignment of the draw force line (DFL), as deviations can lead to muscular fatigue, increased injury risk, and decreased shooting accuracy. This case study evaluates the relationship between DFL alignment and performance among male and female student archers at UiTM Seremban 3, addressing how improper technique necessitates compensatory muscle effort. By comparing these factors across genders, the research highlights the critical role of skeletal alignment in minimizing repetitive strain and maintaining stability for peak performance.
