Abstract

This study investigated the impact of the NetballSmart Dynamic Warm-Up (NSDW) on the physical performance of 20 youth netball players aged 12–17. Participants were divided into two groups: one following the NSDW protocol—focusing on strength, balance, and neuromuscular control—and the other performing a traditional routine of jogging and static stretching. Over a four-week period, the players were assessed on agility (Illinois Agility Test) and muscular power (vertical and broad jumps) to determine if the injury-prevention-focused NSDW program offers additional performance-enhancing benefits compared to standard warm-ups.
