Abstract
Addressing the high prevalence of stress, anxiety, and depression among university students, this study investigated the relationship between recreational sports participation and mental health outcomes among 378 students at UiTM Seremban 3. Using a quantitative design, researchers collected data via an online survey, measuring sports frequency and mental health levels through the DASS-21 scale. Chi-Square tests were subsequently employed to analyze the correlation between physical activity and mental well-being, aiming to provide a basis for integrating recreational sports into university programs to promote a balanced, healthier lifestyle for students.
