Abstract

This study investigates the impact of a six-week supervised swimming intervention on body composition among 34 sedentary males aged 18–30, aiming to address rising obesity through aerobic exercise. Participants were divided into a swimming group (three 60-minute sessions weekly) and a control group, with pre- and post-intervention measurements of body weight, waist, and hip circumference analyzed via t-tests. By comparing these outcomes, the research evaluates the effectiveness of regular swimming as a strategy for weight management and fat distribution in an inactive population.
