Abstract
Research indicates that attentional focus significantly impacts motor skill learning, with external focus (targeting environmental effects) generally outperforming internal focus (targeting body movements) by promoting greater movement automaticity and accuracy. While the effectiveness of these strategies can vary based on age and expertise, this study specifically evaluates how internal versus external feedback influences dart-throwing performance in young adults to determine the superior instructional approach.
