Grocery paperless receipt application for Fresh Hub

Mobile applications are rapidly growing segment of the global mobile market in this advancing world of technology. Grocery Paperless Receipt Application for Fresh Hub is developed to ease the customers who always buy their groceries at Fresh Hub to get a paperless receipt on their mobile phone only. The project is developed for three users which are customer, admin and cashier. The customers will scan the product then it will add to the receipt. Then, the customers will get their receipt on their mobile phone. If they want to return their product, they will show the receipt on their mobile to the cashier or other staff in Fresh Hub, then they will replace the product with the new one. The project was split into three phases which are Requirements Gathering and Analysis, System Design and System Implementation. The requirements of project were gathered by conducting an interview with supervisor of Fresh Hub, Mr Gunawan bin Adi and conducting a survey for people who have buying their grocery at any store. Then, the requirements are being analyzed. The use case diagram, domain class diagram, activity diagram and system sequence diagram were identified in this phase. All the results were documented in Software Requirements Specification (SRS). Next, the system design will be saved in System Design Document (SDD). The third phase of this methodology is implementation phase which is to develop Grocery Paperless Receipt Application for Fresh Hub and final application will be produced. Finally, all the objectives had been achieved at the end of this project but there are several limitations which are the application only can use for Android users only. The application also only focusses on developing paperless receipt, not the inventory of the product stock in and stock out of Fresh Hub. Hence, there still some future works are needed to be done.
