Abstract
This study explores the relationship between social support and mental health among 305 sports science students at UiTM Seremban 3 using a quantitative survey design. By employing the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) and the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21), the research assesses how support systems from family, friends, and significant others influence levels of depression, anxiety, and stress. The findings aim to provide practical insights for academic institutions to develop targeted mental health management strategies and support frameworks specifically tailored for the unique pressures faced by sports students.
