The executive summary can be described in terms of the findings, experiences, knowledge, and understanding that I gained during my internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Malaysia. I was able to fully dedicate myself to working in the audit department for 6 months which from 3rd March until 15th August 2025, where I performed tasks related to audit planning, fieldwork, and documentation given by clients. Throughout this period, I have strengthened my technical skills such as financial analysis and attention to detail, as well as my communication and teamwork abilities as auditors require to work as a team and they often need to communicate with the clients for each engagement. By collaborating closely with different team members and managers for every engagement gave me valuable exposure to different professional perspectives and best practices in the auditing environment as I need to quickly adapt with the clients’ business nature. During my internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Malaysia, I had to handle large volumes of data, which presented several challenges that I successfully addressed through problem-solving skills and teamwork. These experiences not only tested my technical and analytical abilities but also greatly contributed to enhancing my adaptability and personal growth as it can give me knowledge about audit field and how it relate with finance aspects. It was a privilege for me to be involved in preparing audit working papers and contributing to reports reviewed by seniors as well as managers, which were crucial for client meetings and decision-making based on the tested samples. These achievements improved my ability to deliver tasks on time and interact effectively in a professional environment. In conclusion, it was a great experience for me to be one of the interns in PwC as it has significantly shaped my professional development and strengthened my readiness for future responsibilities in the audit field. I look forward to applying the knowledge and skills I gained to my future career endeavors.
