Based in Kuala Lumpur, the company deals with serving the energy industry through marine logistics, offshore containers, equipment rental and supply chain services. It has collaborations with other international companies and considers safety, quality and sustainability. Altus Oil & Gas Malaysia Sdn Bhd strives to become the supplier of choice in logistics of Malaysia and unite the use of certified systems (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001) with the highest technological barriers and excellent corporate culture. Its advantages are large geographical coverage and innovative approach. Nevertheless, it has to deal with the issues of worldwide brand awareness and employee retention. Altus Oil & Gas Malaysia Sdn Bhd is relentlessly striving to enhance its brand, its people, digitalization, and safety, where the goal is to remain competitive. The company is even getting diversified into green logistics that satisfy the industry and environmental requirements. Through my internship in the Finance Department at the end of which (6 months) I had the experience of work on the real side of the working places, namely on the work on bank reconciliation, staff claims, invoicing, budget reports and so on. The internship experience assisted me in becoming professionally competent, developing soft skills and being ready to work in the field of finance.
