Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad

This report covers my 24-week industrial training (MGT666) at Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad from 3rd March to 15th August 2025. I was assigned to the Sales Admin Department under the supervision of Mr. Cheah Wei Jiann (Sales Admin Manager) and assisted by Ms. Nirlawani. The training aimed to provide exposure to real working environments and enhance the application of academic knowledge in professional settings. Throughout the internship, I was involved in core administrative tasks such as handling Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPA), updating purchaser information, preparing utility application documents, and managing filing systems. I also coordinated with the Credit Control Department (CCD), which improved my communication and teamwork skills. This report includes an overview of the company’s background, followed by a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis based on my direct observations. Several practical recommendations are proposed to help the department address challenges, improve efficiency, and capitalize on future growth opportunities. Overall, this industrial training has significantly contributed to my personal and professional development. It deepened my understanding of the property development industry and strengthened my administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills that can build a strong foundation for future roles in business, management, and real estate.
