IFS Capital Limited

All undergraduate students at the Faculty of Business and Management, all of them majoring in International Business, must do an internship as part of their studies. This on-the-job training gives students hands-on experience in real business settings, which helps them use what they've learnt in university, improve their professional abilities, and take on responsibilities at work. This report is about how I successfully finished my internship at IFS Capital Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. from March 3 to August 15, 2025. The company is a subsidiary of IFS Capital Limited, which is listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. It offers financial services such factoring, supply chain financing, leasing, term loans, and bank guarantees. IFS Capital Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. mostly assists small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Malaysia and the surrounding area. During my internship, I learnt how to do things like finance a business, serve clients, and observe the company from the inside out. The company's changing atmosphere and guidance made it a great place to learn new skills and progress as a professional. A SWOT analysis of IFS Capital Malaysia, which looks at its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, is a main point of this study. The report points out the company's strong product lines and good reputation in the market, as well as problems and areas where it may strengthen its strategy. There is a discussion and suggestions for each element that give information about the company's current state and future possibilities. This work experience has been a great way to learn, combining what I've learnt at university with what I do in the real world. The report is meant to show both the professional development that has happened and a strategic comprehend of the business environment at IFS Capital Malaysia.
