Abstract
The establishment of the UiTM Green Centre (UGC) was approved during the MEU Meeting (34/2 2020) on 21 October 2020, under the portfolio of the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Development, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). This initiative aligns with UiTM's Strategic Plan 2025, specifically Strategic Theme 8 (Smart Campus), and aims to uphold the sustainability agenda of the university, the community, and the world. UGC promotes a dynamic and diverse approach in its operations. Its core members are appointed from within the UiTM community and are supported by an Expert Task Force (ETF) comprising faculty members and multidisciplinary experts who share a strong passion and commitment to advocating for the university's sustainability agenda.
