Abstract
Kuala Perlis, 26 October 2025 – A total of 40 students from the sustainable marine technology program, UiTM Perlis, participated in the hero cleanliness volunteer program at Dataran Kurong Tengar, Kuala Perlis. Organized by Perlis Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Corporation (SWCorp) in conjunction with the clean Perlis 2025-2026 tour and national recycling day, the initiative aimed to raise awareness and cultivate recycling practices among the community. The program involved 170 volunteers from government agencies, NGOs, and higher education institutions, successfully collecting 520 kg of solid waste, mostly plastics, contributing to a cleaner environment.
