Abstract
The gotong-royong perdana UiTM Kedah branch 2025 was successfully held on 24 September 2025, bringing together academic and administrative staff in a collective effort to create a cleaner, safer and more sustainable campus. Organised by EKSA in collaboration with the Facilities management Division and the Go Green Committee, the programme recorded the participation of 124 staff members, reflecting a strong spirit of teamwork and shared responsibility. Key activities included campus-wide cleaning, the Trash to Cash 2025 initiative, and repainting of road humps, parking bays and road markings. Through the Trash to Cash programme, recyclable items collected by staff generated RM344.30, demonstrating how environmental awareness can also contribute to economic value while promoting responsible waste management practices. The repainting of road markings and humps had a direct and visible impact on campus safety and aesthetics. Clearer road lines help reduce the risk of accidents, improve traffic flow and enhance the overall appearance of the campus environment. These efforts highlight how practical, hands-on initiatives can make a meaningful difference to daily campus life.
