Karnival pendidikan komuniti: peduli kanser, alam sekitar dan keusahawanan

The program aims to strengthen public awareness on health, environmental sustainability, and community economic empowerment through entrepreneurship. A variety of free, high-impact activities were offered to the local community, including health and entrepreneurship talks, early cancer screening and audiometry tests, collection of used cooking oil and recyclable items, as well as STEM activities for children designed to promote education and green awareness. The Community Education Carnival, focusing on cancer awareness, environmental conservation, and entrepreneurship development, was successfully held on 25 October 2025 at the Tunku Mahkota Ismail Youth Centre (TMIYC), Pasir Gudang. The event was a strategic initiative by UiTM Green Centre (UGC), UiTM Johor, Pasir Gudang Campus, organized collaboratively with Pasir Gudang City Council (MBPG), Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA), National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM), KPJ Pasir Gudang Hospital, Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan (PIS), Fathope Energy, and CBH Recycle. The carnival was officially inaugurated by Dr. Siti Khadijah binti Alias, Assistant Rector of UiTM Johor, Pasir Gudang Campus. During the ceremony, the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) contributed RM6,000 in zakat to support university welfare and educational initiatives. Additionally, the carnival’s recycled goods sale helped reduce 566 kgCO₂, contributing to carbon footprint reduction and environmental sustainability.
