The problem of absenteeism among Sk Peserai students

The study was conducted truancy problem in SK Peserai Batu Pahat, Johor. The aims to identify the factors that cause students absenteeism in SK Peserai Batu Pahat, Johor. It aims to look at the level or rate of absenteeism from various aspects such as race, age, class position, family background, place of residence and also the environment. In this study, the causes of truancy are also examined in terms of teaching, school rules and the learning environment. Through a survey conducted, the findings have explained patterns of student truancy phenomenon, the teaching factors , school rules and student learning environments that cause skipping. From these findings several suggestions as steps to overcome the problem of absenteeism in SK Peserai, Batu Pahat, Johor.
