CyberSecurity Malaysia

As part of my course for the Bachelor’s (Hons.) Degree in International Business under the Faculty of Business and Management, I am obligated to complete my MGT666 Industrial Training in which I will undergo a 6 months internship period between 3 March 2025 to 15 August 2025. This internship program is dedicated to increasing my knowledge, skill, and experience by involving myself in real-world business operations. For this, I have completed my Industrial Training at CyberSecurity Malaysia, Cyberjaya. CyberSecurity Malaysia is a cybersecurity company under the purview of the Ministry of Digital and is dedicated to offering their services and products throughout the whole of Malaysia. They work with many government agencies and offer their services to both public and private companies. Here, I work under the Cyber Solutions department which is a department dedicated to providing appropriate cyber solutions offered by the company to clients and help engage in business affairs that can generate sales for the company. In this report, I will also examine CyberSecurity Malaysia’s SWOT analysis, which is the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to better understand the business of CyberSecurity Malaysia, By examining the SWOT, I will also be discussing recommendations that can be applied to the company to help it improve where it may be lacking and take advantage of what can benefit them. This will help understand the internal and external factors regarding CyberSecurity Malaysia.
