Abstract

The smash is one of the most effective offensive techniques in table tennis, exerting significant pressure on opponents through its high speed and power. However, achieving accuracy in smash execution remains a major challenge for both amateur and professional players. This study aims to develop a target smash tool designed to enhance table tennis players' shot accuracy. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method based on the steps outlined by Borg & Gall. The findings indicate that the tool effectively improves players' smash accuracy, with potential for further development, such as integration with smartphone applications for training data analysis.
