Abstract

On 10 February 2026, the Gastroenterology & Hepatology Unit (GastroUiTM) had the distinct honour of achieving a national milestone by conducting the first Certification Course of Endoscopic Full-Thickness Resection Using the FTRD® System in Malaysia. The programme was successfully organised at the Clinical Simulation Lab, Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah, UiTM, marking a significant advancement in the development of advanced therapeutic endoscopy services in the country.
