Abstract

Training refers to a process which employees acquire knowledge, develop skills, and improve their abilities to perform specific job-related tasks effectively. Training is essential for both employees and organizations as it enhances productivity, efficiency, and overall performance. Training also helps employees feel more competent and confident in their roles. When employees understand their job responsibilities and how to perform them effectively, they are more likely to be satisfied with their work. However, many employees are reluctant to participate in training programs due to various factors. Understanding the factors that discourage participation is essential for improving training effectiveness and employee engagement.
