Abstract

The lip care products establishment described in this business plan is a start-up venture created by individuals who are determined and dedicated to open a business and to gain experience in the cosmetic industry. Curae, is a company that manufactures lip care products based on roses and natural ingredients based in Malaysia. The business wanted to build a large customer base by utilizing the resources, talents and knowledge into something extraordinary as well as achieving the business goals. The passion and experiences will help Curae to create a magnificent foundation for this endeavor. Commencement of the business is on 5th of January 2021 with a start-up capital of RM65,654 which contributed from each partner. Considering the strategic location of the business in Petaling Jaya, we believe that by aggressive promotion strategies, we will be able to reach the target market and potential buyers that come from various backgrounds and levels of income. The potential of Curae to develop and grow is huge as we compare with other cosmetic production companies, we are exclusively working with only natural ingredients for our lip care products. This will give a great opportunity for the business to penetrate the local market as well as the global market. We are creating a competition in the cosmetic industry in order to fulfill and satisfy our customers’ needs. Curae contributes the market share by 5% meanwhile the leading cosmetic company in Malaysia, Silkygirl contributes as much as 39% after the entrance of Curae. Curae’s products are budget friendly for it to be available and suitable for all levels of income in Selangor provided that the prices offered range from RM15-25. The lip care products consist of 3 types which are lip oil, lip scrub and lip gloss. The vision of the business is to penetrate the global market in 6-7 years from now. Curae believes to achieve the organization goals as well as giving the best experience of our products to the consumers regardless of their age. Curae will use the opportunity given to the extent where it can comfortably set the business in the market without wasting any resources provided.
