Abstract
The following is a proposal of a business plan, theSelesa, an event space provider for people around Kuantan to held any events or occasions such as solemnization, birthday party and aqiqah. The business is sets up together by 5 individuals which consist of General Manager, Marketing Manager, Administration Manager, Operation Manager and Financial Manager with a capital RM300,000 as a start. As a newly build business, we want to be a problem solver to consumers which is why our goal is to provide a great service for our clients by trying our very best to fulfil all requirements requested. Before we commence the business, obviously we have done a lot of researches and analysis to ensure the service that is to be provided can satisfy consumers’ needs and wants. We also put our competitors which are Rumah Abang Jamil, Dumoh Kuantan and CMI Hall and Event Space as our benchmarks to compete healthily and to help us perform better service. In order to compete with them, improvise and innovate the existing service is principally our objective which will help the business to be different from others. This also will assist the business to operate effectively and efficiently. Additionally, we offer special package to consumers which includes photographer along with the event space at a reasonable price. This would help the business to attract more clients and eventually boost our monthly sales. The business, theSelesa, aim to have Malaysian especially individuals or families in Kuantan that are going to held an event or occasion especially solemnization and wedding reception as our target market to fit our business purpose which is to provide an event space. Consumers will find it convenient to choose our event space as it is not limited to only a specific event, instead we provide a space and do decorations that suits every occasion according to our customers’ demand. Moreover, we do include photographer in our package as mentioned before. Most consumers love a business that is multi-purpose because it will be easier for them to deal with one same agent rather than different agents for different services. The multi-purpose services that our business provides will also benefit the consumers by saving their precious time and reduce the cost. As entrepreneurs, we are expecting theSelesa to grow gradually at its own pace while competing healthily with our competitors. We expect to score a huge profitability by having a lot of clients and also build our own loyal customer base. We want to be a business that successfully satisfy our clients’ needs and wants by providing only the best service for them.
