My transformative 6-month internship at KPJ Perlis Specialist Hospital is encapsulated in this executive summary, offering a concise preview of the report's key aspects. The company analysis section of the report provides a comprehensive profile of KPJ Perlis Specialist Hospital, a leading private specialist healthcare group in Malaysia. As the 25th hospital in the KPJ Group, KPJ Perlis is the first specialist hospital in Perlis and operates under the esteemed KPJ Healthcare Berhad. The hospital is dedicated to delivering international-standard quality healthcare services, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a highly-trained team. The analysis highlights the hospital's background, location, vision, mission, core values, objectives, goals, services offered, and outlines its organizational structure. This analysis offers a deep understanding of KPJ Perlis Specialist Hospital's operations, values, and commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services.
Meanwhile, the second section of this report focuses on research analysis. In this section, the primary objective was to investigate the determinants of inflation in five selected ASEAN countries which are Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines. The research spanned a significant period from 2013 to 2022. Utilizing thorough data analysis and econometric modelling, the study aimed to identify the key factors influencing inflation rates in those country. The resulting findings and insights illuminate the intricate dynamics and potential drivers of inflation in the selected ASEAN region. Lastly, these research outcomes offer valuable insights for policymakers, businesses, and other stakeholders seeking a nuanced understanding of the inflationary landscape in these countries and strategies to address this issue.
