Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR), Daerah Muar / Izzat Rais Ishak

This report is set out to give the reader full information about my industrial training in Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) in Muar. Industrial training is one of the compulsory course in Universiti Teknologi Mara (UITM) which students need to complete whether in developer, consultant, construction, factory or company. This
course is set up for students in order to give them experience and gain knowledge in working environment before going through the real working life. It also gives them an opportunity to apply the theories learned at the university to the real world of employment.

Besides that, student can absorb 6 soft skill by develop positive
personality along the industrial training session which are interpersonal skills, teamwork skills, communication skills, self management, leadership awareness and management. Apart from that, the industrial training can be platform for student practice their knowledge and show capability and efficiency to do the work as well as complete the industrial training report.
Student will understand about how employee delegating work properly, discipline and responsible to commit the job.

Other than that, Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Muar is divided into two
places, which is the main office is at Jalan Othman while the other one is at Jalan Ismail. There are four types of departments at Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Jalan Othman which is building, fasility, road and administration. It is also mainly focus for the management projects around Muar. For Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Jalan Ismail, there are two types of departments which is mechanical and electrical. Their mainly focus is for technical support.
