Abstract

In recent years many public and private sector occupiers have focused attention on occupational space efficiency as they have become more rigorous in their management of
property costs, whilst also focusing on improving the quality of the work environment. Three variables were developed which are facilities management, working environment and employees’ integration. The objectives of the study are;(1) To study on the factors that contributes efficiency in the office layout at Pejabat Tanah Kuala Muda (2) To identify whether the facilities management, working environment and employees integration management has
relation to the efficiency in the office layout at Pejabat Tanah Kuala Muda (3) To clarify which major factors contribute to efficiency in the office layout as a mean for the better performance to the organization. Data collected and evidences are being processed by using the SPSS
Computer program. The researcher also wants to test the hypothesis formulated earlier by using the multiple regression analysis. Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient was used in order to know the relationship between all independent variables and dependent variable. It also used to test the hypothesis whether it has the relationship or not. After completing this research, researcher knows the major factors that contribute efficiency of office layout at Pejabat Tanah Kuala Muda is Employees’ Integration. The researcher also provides some recommendation such as buy new facilities and layout arrangement in order to improve efficiency of office layout.
