Practical training at the Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Daerah Dungun building, and placed in the Building Department. The introduction of firm organization and project. Describe or exposure the projects being undertaken by the firm. This company as one of the government building to serve all the people, particularly in development projects and maintenance of public infrastructure. This practical report will be explains about foundation works in health clinic constructions which under collaborations of Ministry of Health Property with Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Malaysia and was constructed under JKR Dungun. In the opening chapter which is Introduction of building background, I give details to the company background including its mission, vision, the organization of company and several project that runs through the company consultation. In this chapter, all record or history and futurity of JKR Dungun including its official address have been stated in the building
introduction. So, it is give details of the company in terms of reader can easily know and access the company. The second chapter is Literature review, I have do some research and review regarding to the choose topic which is foundation works. This chapter contain the definition of foundation, its purpose and requirement, types of foundation and general procedures on constructing the
foundation. Furthermore, there is also a review about by-laws and guidelines for foundation works. For the third chapter is the case study on construction site based on the topic choose and this chapter will explain about the details of foundation works. In this chapter, I have put the details on the location of construction site including detailed drawing plans. There is also a scope of work on project that been handle by parties involved in this project. The report done is the type of foundation that been used to construct the health clinic, detail procedure for construct the foundation including machines and tools used to
construct the foundation. As the conclusion, this practical training gave a lot of information and knowledge through the experience about foundation works, the party involved and procedure in constructing the foundation. This project also gave a lot of information needed including on how to solve problem, how to work with professional workers and many more.
