Lately, we always heard of incidents occurred in the hotels in foreign countries. It causes loss of valuable properties and even loss of lives. There are many reasons that contribute to those situations, one of the reasons are due to the carelessness of staff and guests. Other than that, some of the incidents were caused by violent crimes and also from natural disasters. Many hotels have their own safety & security department to control and overcome the problems because they have the understanding on the importance of the safety and responsibilities to protect their guests. Many aspect need to be considered in order to ensure the safety and security in hotels. They should know the areas to be controlled and trained staffs to ready in any emergency situation. The building itself need to be equipped with safety facilities maintained in good condition.
