Abstract

The product to be developed is a Smart Bidet (SB). Toileting is one of the basic human needs in daily life either for normal people or people with impairment. Malaysia still using a traditional bidet which is less friendly for people with difficulty or impairment. This will reduce independency in toileting activity among people with disability. This idea is derived from the team observation and ongoing studies at the hospitals around Malaysia, where the team discover that our society are still using a traditional bidet that currently is less friendly towards patient who come with a lot of difficulty and sometimes needs them for manually handling. Therefore, the team company took an initiative to develop a new product that is well equipped, systematic and more effective in terms of usage, complete with high functioning features so that the patients will be able to use it without any difficulties.
