Abstract

Financial planning involves deciding what investments and activities would be most appropriate under both personal and broader economic circumstances. All things being equal, short-term financial planning involves less uncertainty than long-term financial planning because, generally speaking, market trends are more easily predictable in the short term. Likewise, short-term financial plans are more easily amendable in case something goes wrong as a result of the short time frame. The purpose of this research is to identify the level of knowledge and employee’s consciousness towards personal financial planning. Therefore, from this research, it will help researcher to define and identifies the majority of population towards personal financial planning. For the purpose of this study, the researcher has adopted the descriptive research design due to its used through survey method. The survey involves a structured questionnaire given to respondents and designed to elicit specific information. The population has been tested at Felcra Berhad Wilayah Tengah whereas its employees become the researcher’s respondent and 50 questionnaires were distributed among them. There are four types of analysis in SPSS program that had been used in the study to analyse the data frequency analysis, reliability testing, descriptive statistic and data correlations. In addition, this studies also using Microsoft Power Point to make the graph. From the findings, researcher find, they are agree that a good financial plan can lead to enhancing the quality of life increasing personal satisfaction by reducing uncertainty about future needs and resources. Besides that, researcher has find out that knowledge of financial planning is the most important in creating consciousness towards personal financial plan. Finally, the researcher can conclude that there is a significant relationship for both of independent variables level of knowledge and employees’ consciousness towards personal financial planning. Thus, researcher can make the conclusion that both of independent variables have positive relationship with personal financial planning.
