Abstract

Along with the improvements within the Internet, online purchasing has been more famous among customers. Electronic commerce has accelerated unexpectedly during the last decade as it permits consumers to exchange goods and services with no barriers of time or distance, and it is frequently quicker, inexpensive and extra convenient than the traditional methods of commerce. However, there is no one stop center for Muslim to buying a Bumiputera halal food product using an online system. The project aims to develop a web-based online shopping system which is Muslim Store with purpose to help muslim buy halal food via Internet. This project focuses on the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) which is it have two interfaces with different function, first for customer and second for admin. System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) was implemented by using the waterfall model which includes phases of planning, analysis, design, implementation and maintenance. The system was design by using Just in mind and developed by using Sublime. User acceptance testing has been conducted with the community in Perlis and the result shows that all the user satisfied and accepted the system which indicates the e-commerce for Bumiputera halal food system is efficient and helpful for both customer and admin system. In conclusion, the project is practicable since it provided a platform for customer and admin to buying and selling halal food product from anywhere at any time via Internet.
